“Press Here” by Hervè Tullet
Allow me to introduce you to one of the clutchest books I know: Hervè Tullet’s Press Here
This book has served us well waiting for our food at a restaurant, on road trips that just won’t end, and as a last minute birthday gift on several different occasions. The beauty of this picture book is that it’s interactive, so it’s the perfect antidote to fidgety kids! Little ones must press different colored dots, turn the pages sideways, and shake the whole book to see charming (and often colorful) results that involves jumbled shapes and mixed primary colors magically changing hues.
But at the heart of this book is the simple polka dot, so that’s what we’ve featured here in this retro style toddler girls outfit, perfect for summer time. The tank alone makes us smile, but paired with the subtle bow on the shorts, and the red pom sandal (is it just me or would this also be a great firecracker-inspired shoe for Fourth of July?), this outfit is about as lively as the book itself!
